About
The Green Shack offers a panoramic view of the sea and the nearby mountains.
The eco lodge is fully equipped with 1 large bedroom of 50m2 which includes 1 king size bed, 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed, with a furnished terrace.
It is found on a land of 4.6 arpents where vegetables and fruits are cultivated and a farm is being developed. Rainwater harvesting is done on site and power is generated by solar panels, in line with ecotourism principles.
Guests will be invited to leave their cars in a secured parking (under the responsibility of the host) in the nearby village and they will embark right away on an extraordinary off road trip up to The Green Shack.
This unique place in Mauritius is a great starting or resting point for Hikers and nature lovers. You will be able to discover different trails leading to the Cat and The Mouse mountain, the nearby Bambous Mountain and waterfalls.

Views for miles, a total escape. There is no TV, WIFI, fans or aircon, but it is very clean and walks from your front door. I recommend the Half board as the meals are freshly prepared and delicious.

- No cancellation policy: Once a booking is confirmed, there are no refunds or cancellations
- No-shows will be charged total rate; no refunds, rescheduling, or re-booking allowed
- All prices on MariDeal are inclusive of VAT
Force Majeure:
- Lockdown protocol: If a booking falls within a Lockdown period/Government restriction, it will automatically be cancelled and refunded as a store credit in your MariDeal account only
- Cyclone protocol: If a booking falls within Cyclone Class 3 or above, the reservation will be postponed or cancelled subject to merchant's aproval (if cancelled, it will be refunded in the form of store credit to your MariDeal account)
