Le Chamarel Restaurant offers an authentic Mauritian dining experience, perched 260 metres above sea level with breathtaking panoramic views of the south-west coast and the Indian Ocean.
Celebrating the island’s rich culinary heritage, the restaurant showcases Creole-inspired cuisine crafted with local ingredients and seasonal flavours. Shocking customer service. Despite having made reservation on, was not informed that lower end of chamarel road is closed. Rude lady on phone says "it's not their problem, I should have seen on FB!"

Poor Service.and Poor Hygiene as well. Cats were eating leftovers on the table. The waitress was not welcoming at all. Had to wait to wait long hours before being served.

Went there last year - for the price paid, the panoramic view was great but the food, staff were horrible. We had a tasting platter of local food but it was bad. Meat was tough, kid meal bad.Not worth
