About
Le Domaine des Aubineaux is a beautifully preserved colonial estate located just 1 km from Curepipe, set within a lush floral park. Built in 1872 using teak and reclaimed local wood from demolished ships, the mansion was once home to the Guimbeau family for eight generations before being converted into a museum in 2000, showcasing its rich history and heritage.
Les Aubineaux Restaurant, which opened in 2008, offers authentic Mauritian cuisine enhanced with French culinary influences in an elegant colonial setting. Visitors can also explore the estate's picturesque gardens, home to rare trees including camphor, chalta, and a conifer over 500 years old. As part of La Route du Thé, du Rhum et de la Vanille, the estate provides a unique experience that combines history, culture, nature, and gastronomy.

Customer Conditions:
- No Cancellation policy: Once a booking is paid for, there are no refunds
- No-shows will be charged total rate; no refunds, rescheduling, or re-booking allowed
- ID card, passport, resident or work permit must be shown by all customers upon arrival, failure to do so will entitle the Merchant to charge the applicable rate
- All prices on MariDeal are inclusive of VAT
Force Majeure:
- Lockdown protocol: If a booking falls within a Lockdown period/Government restriction, it will automatically be cancelled & refunded as a store credit in your MariDeal account only
- Cyclone protocol: If a booking falls within Cyclone Class 3 or above, the reservation will automatically be cancelled & will be refunded in the form of store credit to your MariDeal account
