About
La Route du Thé is a scenic heritage trail that takes visitors on a journey through Mauritius' tea-growing traditions, colonial history, and local gastronomy. The route connects three iconic estates—Domaine des Aubineaux, Bois Chéri Tea Factory, and Domaine de Saint Aubin—offering a unique blend of cultural, historical, and culinary experiences.
Visitors can explore beautifully preserved colonial houses, discover the art of tea production, visit a rum distillery and vanilla plantation, stroll through lush gardens, and savour authentic Mauritian cuisine along the way. La Route du Thé provides an immersive experience that showcases the island's rich heritage, flavours, and natural beauty.
Value for money. The tea-tasting was a bit disappointing- the servers just put a bunch of tea boxers in front on you and tell you to make the tea of your choice. There's no interaction, explanation

Great Experience in all 3 properties. The rhum tasting at St Aubin was awesome. Lunch at Bois Cheri was quite limited in choice but tasty. Tea Tasting was great and friendly staff.
