About
La Case du Pecheur, a nested retreat among the breathtaking mountain landscapes. In the southeast of the island of Mauritius, by the small village of Anse Bambous, lies a manmade fish farm amid a picturesque nature setting right by a river mouth and on the ocean. Located in an unspoiled natural environment, La Case du Pecheur offers guests a real break from civilisation whilst providing comfortable and authentic lodging.
Restaurant
The restaurant is built entirely of wood and thatch overlooks the Barachois and the sea. It serves fresh seafood, traditional Creole cuisine, and local specialities for a la carte lunch and dinner. The restaurant with an adjoining bar offers guests a gourmet choice of oysters, crabs, and lobster fresh from the pond - prepared lovingly and in local style, but also an array of vegetarian dishes and desserts. Très mauvaise experience,la chambre n’était pas securisé,la porte on ne pouvait pas le fermer correctement on ne se sentait pas en sécurité,de l’extérieur on pouvait voir tout dans la chambre

There were wasps in the room balcony, cocroches and other flying insects.

A little renovation regarding the toilet. room No 4 balcony has a pungent smell. the grill fish that they served on the night was the same on the following day lunch, so sad, but great staff.
